Apple hat das AirPort Utility für den Mac auf Version 6.0 aktualisiert. Auffälligste Neuerung: Ein iOS-Like Userinterface, welches mir persönlich sehr gut gefällt.

Benutzen Sie das AirPort-Dienstprogramm zum Einrichten und Verwalten Ihres WLAN-Netzwerks und Ihrer AirPort-Basisstationen, wie z. B. AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme und Time Capsule. Zeigen Sie eine grafische Übersicht Ihres WLAN-Netzwerks und Ihrer Geräte an. Ändern Sie die Basisstation- und Netzwerkeinstellungen oder verwalten Sie erweiterte Funktionen wie Sicherheitsmodi, drahtlose Kanäle und mehr.
Außerdem gab es Firmwareupdates für alle AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme und Time Capsule Modelle, die im 802.11n Standard funken.
About AirPort Base Station and Time Capsule Firmware Update 7.6.1
This update is for all 802.11n AirPort Express, 802.11n AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule models. It fixes an issue with wireless performance and provides support for remote access to an AirPort disk or a Time Capsule hard drive with an iCloud account.
Das AirPort Utility kann über kostenlos über die Mac OS X Softwareaktualisierung bzw. direkt von Apples Homepage heruntergeladen werden. Mac OS X 10.7.2 wird minimal vorausgesetzt.
